Welcome to the board!
I've been reading the Historical AG books as long as i can remember! When ever someone is trying to explain to me where a certain time-period is...i ask them which historical doll it's closest to

Welcome! I started my collection during my first year of pharmacy school. I hated history til then, now I long to visit Colonial Williamsburg and wish I could talk more to my Grandma about living in the 30's. As for life changing-I could be saving a ton of $$ if it weren't for AG, add to that after I started collecting, so did my 2 sisters, my mom, my 2 aunts, cousins, and the list goes on and on. I wonder how many of us would ever have discovered AG if I hadn't seen an ad for a catalog in Victoria Magazine.

Hello, and welcome! I'm new too, but feel right at home. Have I been influenced? Yes, I'm very poor now, and have abandoned my husband for my doll collection. lol

Thanks to everyone who replied It is good to know that I am not alone in my addiction. I just realised I had one when I finally got my doll. There is not that many things from chilhood that have constantly stayed with me like my love of these dolls and characters. I have only had Felicity a week and already I long for more!!
